Dori Weinstein is the author of the YaYa and YoYo book series. SLIDING INTO THE NEW YEAR, the first book in the series, was named a Moonbeam Children's Book Award Gold Medal winner. The second book, SHAKING IN THE SHACK, was released in 2013. The latest book, HOOPLA UNDER THE HUPPAH, made its debut in 2017. All three books are available on Dori's website www.yayayoyo.com. Dori What a nice introduction to the series. My nine year old Yael loved it - and not just because she shares a name with the protagonist! The book is well-written and really gets into the mind of a kid - a very complicated matter! We are all waiting for the second- and third....
